You know when you look forward to a trip for so long and then it goes by so fast and reality hits you in the face? And then you also have bags to unpack and 10 loads of laundry to do… thats my absolute worst! I honestly am that person who doesn’t unpack my bags for a few days… and by that I mean week! I do take the dirty clothes out tho… I’m not completely lazy!
Last month we headed to Vegas, we actually wanted to do a tropical trip but with Gigi only being 2 months old and us never traveling as a family of 5 yet we thought we would do something a little less risky and more tame hah So we did a 5 hour road trip to Tahiti Village in Vegas! And honestly guys… it felt like we were in the Caribbean! Not once did it feel like Vegas!
Confession, I’ve never been to Vegas until this trip! I totally had imagined what Vegas would be like in my head and thought it would be this dirty, overwhelmingly busy kind of loud place with neon lights and drunk people everywhere. (Yeah I truly thought that haha) I wasn’t sure about taking the kids there but it was actually really really nice. We pretty much stayed at the resort but did drive down the strip one night. It was nice to do a quick little vacation with the kids and get away for a few days. Since the trip keeps asking if he can go on “Vakitchen” again haha I love how he says it and I keep saying where do you wanna go? Just so he’ll say to again 🙂
