Bellow is the single most beautiful creature I have ever seen in its natural environment. I will probably never have the privilege of seeing another Tiger in the wild again (that is, at least, without baiting practises by park officials). Time is running out for these magnificent animals, who are unfortunately among the world's most threatened species. Only an estimated 3,200 remain in the wild and it is sad to think that because of our negligence they will soon be extinct.

Mudumalai Part Two: Trek Through the Reserve

Mudumalai is a National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary located on the northwest side of the Nilgiri Hills. Situated between other surrounding protected areas, the strategic position of the reserve creates a wildlife corridor, which is haven to a long list of threatened and endangered species, such as Indian Elephants and Bengal Tigers.
